Braves win in dramatic fashion
Today the Braves came in looking to gain ground in the standings with the Phillies and did so. First to start it off next to great pitching by Kenshin Kawakami Brian Mccan hit a 2 run homerun to make it 2 to 0 Braves. Then the Phillies countered back making it 2 to 1 then 2 to 2 then in the 7th 3 to 2. Then in the 9th hoping not to continue his closing woes this year Brad Lidge came in. First Garret Anderson hit a single. Then Matt Diaz laid down a sacrifice and Brad Lidge made two errors. First he bobbled the ball and then he threw the ball away and Anderson scored and Diaz got to third. Then Adam Laroche was intentionaly walked. Then Greg Norton walked. Sadly Ryan Church struck out and could not win it for the Braves but OMAR INFANTE came up after being injured and hit a game winning single. Braves are now 5 games out of first.

Braves lose heart breaker
The Braves came in looking to terroize the Phillies like they usually had done this season and took a 1 to 0 lead on a Chipper Jones RBI single scoring Nate Mclouth. Then Chase Utley hit a two run homer for the Phils to make it 2 to 1. Next Ryan Church hit an RBI double to make it 2 to 2 but in the 9th Ryan Howard hit a homerun to make it 3 to 2. Then with first and second for the Braves Nate Mclouth was inches away from hitting his first walk off homeerun as a Brave. So the Braves drop to 60 and 55 but still have plenty of hope for the playoff's!!!

Braves break nats streak at 8 wins
As the Braves continue to roll they defeat the Nationals 8 to 1 and break the Nats win streak at 8. Omar Infante came off the DL finally and had some good cuts. Ryan Church ia still playing Center field for Nate Mclouth instead of playing right as Mclouth tweaked his hamstring. Church had a double and a single with some RBI's. Chipper Jones came back and a hit. Hanson goes to 7 and 2 now as the Braves look to keep the train rolling as they are in the race in the East and Wildcard.
