Braves sweep the Nats

The Braves sweep the Nationals and stay 2.5 games out of the Wild Card. Unfortunately the Cardinals lost to the Rockies and they remain at 2.5 games out. The Braves came back and won in 10 to clinch the win. They have 7 games left though and have a great chance of wining the wild card.

Braves win first two games against Nats

The Atlanta Braves came in looking to stay in the Wild Card playoffs against the Nationals and they have done so. They won the first game 4 to 1 and today they won 11 to 5. The Braves with 8 to go are 5.5 games out of the East and 3 games out of the wildcard. In other news Bobby Cox will stay with the Braves for one more year as he signed contract and Chipper said if he likes the new manager in 2011 then he will stay.

Braves lose series against the Phils then sweep the Mets

The Braves have 10 games to go but before that they lost the series 2 to 3. But they swept the Met's in 3gm's. The Braves look to win the Wildcard as they are 4 games out and have ten gsmes to go so we need a win.

The Braves sweep the mets then lost first game to the Phils

The Braves ended up sweeping the mets which was great and they had a 7 game winning streak which was there highest win streak since 06. They were 4.5 games out of the wild card standings coming into last night against the Phillies and lost 9 to 4 but are still 4.5 games out of the wild card with 15 games to go and need some wins down the stretch.

An update on the braves

Sorry i have not been on lately but the braves have gone on a hot streak defeating the cardinals in a 3 game sweep and are 6.5 games out of the wild card and 7 games out of the east as the braves look to make it to the postseason which there still is a chance. Lets hope the braves can come up with a big win.

The Braves came in looking to sweep the Reds but they ended up getting swept in a 3 game series and with 24 games left they find themselves 7 games out of first.

Braves lose 3 to 1 against the Reds and trail in the Wild card sta ndings by 5 games

Last night the Braves trailed the Reds 3 to 1 and ended up losing 3 to 1. Though Nate Mclouth did have a long ball as we welcome him back. Though the Braves trail by 5 games in the Wild card. Here is a view of the Wild card standings.

Braves end up spliting series with Marlins and trail Reds 3 to 1

The Braves won the first 2 games against Florida but the lost the last 2. So the Braves in a close wild card trailed the Rockies by 4 games entering today and they trail 3 to 1 but Nate Mclouth had his first at bat back from his hamstring injury and the first pitch was a homerun so we say WELCOME BACK NATE!!!

Braves beat Marlinesin second game of series and lead 3rd game 3 to 2

Yesterday Tim Hudson made his first start for ATL since 2008 when he had tommy john surgery and did great! Only gave up two runs and the braves ended up winning 4 to 3. Today the Braves lead the Fish right now 3 to 2 and look to lead the series 3 to 0.

Braves lose series with Phils but beat Marlins in first game of a crucial 4 game set.

Two nights ago the Braves couldn't defeats the Phillies but were able to win the first game to the Florida Marlins in a crucial 4 game set last night as the Braves and Marlins were tied in the wild card but now the Braves lead by 1 game in the Wild card and the N.L East. The Braves won 5 to 2 last night and tonight Tim Hudson will pitch for his first start since 2008 and Nate Mclouth is expected to return sometime soon.
