Braves win in dramatic fashion
Today the Braves came in looking to gain ground in the standings with the Phillies and did so. First to start it off next to great pitching by Kenshin Kawakami Brian Mccan hit a 2 run homerun to make it 2 to 0 Braves. Then the Phillies countered back making it 2 to 1 then 2 to 2 then in the 7th 3 to 2. Then in the 9th hoping not to continue his closing woes this year Brad Lidge came in. First Garret Anderson hit a single. Then Matt Diaz laid down a sacrifice and Brad Lidge made two errors. First he bobbled the ball and then he threw the ball away and Anderson scored and Diaz got to third. Then Adam Laroche was intentionaly walked. Then Greg Norton walked. Sadly Ryan Church struck out and could not win it for the Braves but OMAR INFANTE came up after being injured and hit a game winning single. Braves are now 5 games out of first.
