Braves sign veteran Hernandez and acquire Francisco

The braves have been busy of late. They have signed 37 year old veteran Livan Hernandez to a 1 year deal. He will serve in the bullpen and be able to make spot appearances. Also the braves have acquired third baseman power hitter Juan Francisco from the reds for JJ Hoover. Fransisco is a power hitter who will spell Prato at third untill chipper returns. These two acquisitions are just another plus to the braves advantage to hit the post season! I wouldn't be surprised if Atlanta makes one more signing or trade though!
